A picturesque hotel, wonderful views, gorgeous location in the very good restaurants in Luso. Updated units and superbly friendly staff who attended us during check-out. The lobby restaurant for dinner.

In May the castle gardens were looking fantastic. The 5 course dinner for €30 was excellent, as was the complimentry bottle of bubbly in the room. It is a real fairytale castle and walking in the woods around the castle was a special treat for us.
The diningroom chairs need re-upholstering

I loved the location - the woods and the gardens, the public spaces and the staff who were very nice and helpfull
I was annoyed with the towels - worn and hard. I found the dinner over prized for the actuall quality of the food.

Fine palace vibes!
What a cool place! The design of this former palace was mind-blowing. My room was super spacious with a massive bathroom. We had breakfast on the terrace, even better. Just wish there was WiFi in the room and a pool to cool off. Perfect for a different getaway from the city.

This castle hotel was just awesome!! The building was breathtakingly beautiful. I have stayed in many castle hotels but this hotel was one of the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed!!! We also did an hour and a half walk in the woods and that was also relaxing and beautiful.
We had a hard time finding the entrance (we went there by rental car). Also, I realized afterwards that we were charged for full menu dinner (40 euro) although we only had half menu dinner (35 euro). However, this is really small flaws compared to the greatness of this hotel...

The place is very quiet, perfect to relax and be in contact with the nature.
The room was small but confortable. There was no afternoon tea+biscuits available!
